About us

Jernkontoret is the Swedish iron and steel producers' association. We safeguard the industry's interests through working for the best possible preconditions for operations in Sweden.

Who does what at Jernkontoret?

Co-owners & stakeholders

The co-ownership in Jernkontoret is linked to the iron and steel plants themselves. A company can also become a stakeholder.

Councils and committees

Six councils or committees, including a broad representation from the steel companies, offer guidance to Jernkontoret on different issues.
