Workshop om FoU inom processindustri

6 maj 2010 på Jernkontoret i Stockholm

Promotes årliga workshop anordnas i år tillsammans med Jernkontoret. Promote är en av Luleå tekniska universitets centrumbildningar, namnet står för "Centre for Management of Innovation and Technology in Process Industry”.

Syftet med workshopen är att presentera och diskutera hur FoU inom processindustri ska ledas, organiseras och genomföras på ett effektivt sätt.

Dagens program utgår från pågående forskning vid Promote, kompletterad med föredrag från industrin och andra inbjudna. Avsikten är att lära från både akademi och industri samt att under dagen ge möjlighet till ett informellt kunskapsutbyte och "nätverkande".

Programmet innefattar två huvudtalare:

Bengt Järrehult, director innovation and knowledge management hos SCA, som talar om öppen innovation i processindustri.
Mats Engwall, professor vid KTH, som talar om projektledning i komplexa miljöer.

NKM 15 – the 15th Nordic Corrosion Congress

May 19-21, 2010 in Stockholm

Arranged by SWEREA Kimab and Royal Institute of Technology (KTH)

A graduate course in Corrosion Science is held on May 17-19. It is intended for graduate students or researchers working in academic or industrial environments with an interest in materials science and engineering. The course fee is included in the congress registration fee.

EOSC 2011 – The 6th European
Oxygen Steelmaking Conference

THE CONFERENCE IS FURTHER POSTPONED

Planning an international congress is a process that takes at least one year. As a result of the current economical turmoil Jernkontoret has decided - for the second time - to postpone the European Oxygen Steel Congress.

We deeply regret this, but hope for your understanding.

Our current aim is that the Congress shall be held in 2011.

Further details will be announced on this site during 2010.

The European Oxygen Steelmaking Conference (EOSC) series have in turn been organised by one of the European Metallurgical Societies and Associations and represents by this the most comprehensive expert knowledge in steelmaking.

The conference will present the state of the art technologies and developments and take up dedicated technology issues related to the specific requirements of oxygen steelmaking.

An important exhibition area will gather the main suppliers of equipment for these technologies.

The 10th International Conference
on Steel Rolling (ICSR)

15–17 September 2010 in Beijing in China

The theme of the 10th ICSR is Rolling the future: Process, Products and Environment, with the aim of showing the progress and development in the field of steel rolling (technology, process and products) in the past four years.
The conference is organized by The Chinese Society for Metals (CSM)
