The Steel Industry
Sweden’s steel companies continuously develop new steel grades and products. In many cases, Sweden is a world leader in the development and production of advanced steel.
Most of the Swedish steel is exported to 140 countries. The total value of these exports amounted to SEK 48 billion in 2012.
Jernkontoret operates to strengthen the competitiveness of the steel industry which thereby enables the companies to grow.
