Our library
Jernkontoret’s library has become a central resource for literature within the subject area of mining and metallurgy including the history of individual iron- and steelworks. All aspects of this subject area are covered, i.e. everything from economic and social history to the history of technology.
The library also holds extensive picture collections including about 6,000 illustrations of Swedish ironworks and mines as well as a collection of some 7,000 portraits and biographical material relating to persons linked to Sweden’s mining and metallurgical industry.
