Key figures

In the table below you will find key statistics as they relate to the steel industry.

The table shows, on the one hand, information on pig iron and crude steel production, steel plant deliveries, foreign trade and number of employees in recent years, and on the other hand, quarterly or half-yearly data for the year in question including a comparison with the corresponding period the previous year.

 

The Swedish steel industry has over the past decade had a very positive development that temporarily halted by the recession that followed the financial crisis.
