University bursaries

The steel industry places great value on those holding a Masters degree in Materials Science and Engineering and Process Engineering and it supports and encourages those who strive to acquire such competence.

 

These are the engineers who develop and strengthen our leading companies in the global marketplace. The success of the steel industry is built on technical expertise and development and a job in the industry nowadays also offers great opportunities for individual development.

 

In 2009, Jernkontoret introduced a unique scholarship system for those commencing the Master of Science in Materials Design and Engineering programme at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Dalarna University (HDa). This is also open to students of Sustainable Process Engineering at Luleå University of Technology (LTU).

 

All in all, the future engineer can receive a maximum of SEK 50,000 during the period of his or her studies once certain conditions are satisfied.
