Our committees and councils
There are six councils or committees within Jernkontoret whose task it is to offer guidance to Jernkontoret’s board and management on different issues. These councils include a broad representation from the steel companies themselves and are also strengthened with Jernkontoret’s own specialists. Normally, there is a research head (or equivalent) from Jernkontoret who is secretary of the council concerned.

These councils monitor developments within their respective area of responsibility, initiate strategies for operations and prepare statements on matters submitted for consideration.
